Beep. Beep. Beep. On the surface, my startup seems to be thriving. But remove the life support and you will observe a slump.

I've been resistant to the rapid growth of my companies.  Ironic much?

Academia setup is akin to a food chain. Students are the weeds that get preyed upon.

Relationships are akin to enzymatic lock-and-key. When it changes, it will never be the same again. But do not let emotional pain and distrust harden your heart. Because people in your future shouldn't be punished by your past. Let hurt change for the better. Trust is gold. Trust cannot be afforded to everyone. But do not withhold trust from the trustworthy. The 80:20 Pareto principle states that we should focus on the 20% that truly matters. I've been exceedingly distrusting towards VCs, potential co-founders, and contractors. I've never felt this level of distrust before and I'm shocked by my own paranoia. Hurt people hurt  people. Break the chain.
